Oil Dish is an early study in sculpting with hot wire and Polystyrene Foam. Using a dry layering technique whilst shaping the foam allows a free flowing process before gluing the layers and coating the dish in resin wet on wet. Merging materials from the marine industry with working techniques from model making in design, two familiar practices become one.
